Terms of Service

1. Using Cliffhangers

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account or subscribe. By using the service you confirm that you are, and that you are agreeing to these terms for yourself.

You can watch some episodes without an account. Voting, ratings, reminders and membership need an account. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@cliffhangers.club if you think someone else has used it.

2. Membership and payments

• Membership unlocks every episode of every series, alternate endings and other member features described when you subscribe. Prices are shown before you pay and include any tax we are required to charge.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. Stripe's terms also apply to the payment itself.
• Membership renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period until you cancel. We will tell you in advance before a price change applies to you.
• You can cancel at any time from Account, then Manage plan. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.

3. Refunds

We do not refund partial periods after you cancel. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from a new membership within 14 days of buying it; if you have already started watching member episodes, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what you used. Renewals are not covered by this right. To ask for a refund, email support@cliffhangers.club from the address on your account. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer law.

4. Votes, ratings and what you send us

When you vote on an ending, rate a show or contact us, you allow us to use that input to run the service and to publish combined results (for example, the share of votes each ending received). We do not publish your name with your vote, and we do not use your input to train AI models. Votes help decide stories but do not guarantee any outcome; we choose what is produced.

5. What you may not do

• Copy, download, re-upload, broadcast or sell our episodes or other content, or share your account so others can avoid paying.
• Use bots or scripts to vote, create accounts or scrape the service.
• Try to bypass the paywall, security or limits, or reverse engineer the service.
• Use the service in any way that breaks the law or harms other people.

6. Our content

The shows, characters, artwork, names and the rest of the service belong to us or to the people we license them from. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to stream them for your own non-commercial viewing while you have access. AI-generated content can contain mistakes or odd details, and we may change, edit or remove shows, episodes and features at any time.

7. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example for payment fraud, chargeback abuse or account sharing. If we close your account without a good reason, we will refund any unused part of a period you have paid for.

8. Liability

We provide the service as it is and as available. We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes go to the courts of Cyprus. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first; most problems are quicker to fix by email.
